Automotive Manufacturer Achieves Zero-Liquid-Discharge Production, Reduces Waste Energy
An automotive manufacturing plant in Morocco, consisting of pressing, body assembly, paintwork, and final assembly, started-up in early 2012 with two new production lines and an annual output capacity of 400,000 vehicles/year. The site was designed to discharge zero industrial effluents to the environment. Water consumption for manufacturing processes are 70% lower than for a conventional plant of equivalent size.
